be mô tả trạng thái. Action verb mô tả hành động. Dùng nhầm hai nhóm này làm email rất "dịch Việt".

• Biết khi nào cần action verb
• Tránh lỗi is + verb nguyên mẫu

Be verb: trạng thái

The service is unavailable.
The requirement is clear.
The logs are incomplete.
The deployment was successful.

be thường đi với adjective/noun/prepositional phrase.

Action verb: hành động

The service returns 500.
The client sends invalid data.
We deployed version 2.1.
The team reviewed the PR.

Không viết:

The service is return 500. ❌

Viết:

The service returns 500. ✅

Be + V-ing: hành động đang diễn ra

text
The team is investigating the issue.
Users are reporting login failures.

is investigating khác investigates: một bên đang diễn ra, một bên là thói quen/sự thật.
