IELTS không yêu cầu bạn dùng từ khó mọi lúc. Nhưng bạn cần biết diễn đạt lại idea bằng từ/cấu trúc khác.

Mục tiêu

• Biết 3 cách paraphrase
• Tránh đổi từ làm sai nghĩa
• Áp dụng cho Writing Task 2 và Speaking

Cách 1: dùng synonym an toàn

important -> essential / crucial
help -> support / assist
problem -> issue / challenge

Ví dụ:

Cách 2: đổi word form

Technology has improved communication.
Technology has brought improvements in communication.

Cách 3: đổi cấu trúc câu

Many people use online courses because they are flexible.
Due to their flexibility, online courses are used by many people.

Cẩn thận

Không phải synonym nào cũng thay được.

Không nên viết:

vì nghe không tự nhiên bằng serious problem.
